The City of Elma, incorporated on March 22, 1888, lies within the Chehalis River Valley in Eastern Grays Harbor County, about 30 miles West of Olympia and 40 miles East of the Pacific coast.
Oaksridge Golf Course first opened for play on 1926. The original nine holes were opened in 1926, with the additional nine added in 1975.
Eighteen-hole Oaksridge lies just off Hwy 12. Because the course is relatively short and flat, with minimal hazards, it is ideal for all players. Many golfers stop at the course on their way to the beach.

The signature hole is #10, a 486-yard, par 5, requiring an approach shot to a green protected by a gigantic oak tree. The small greens are average speed and only a few sand bunkers, plus one pond, come into play on the course.

The Links Restaurant and Lounge, a popular local eatery that was in front of the course closed has been closed for a number of years.
